Recommendation: I think everyone should read this book, It is a one of a kind book. It's funny, sad, scary and mysterious, it's an all around book. plus It's easy to follow and easy to read another simple read book.

Summary:It's about small village called Eyam that is attacked by the plague black that was once that leading causes of death in Europe back in the 17th century. The disease is carried by fleas which attach to a host which they usually choose are rats. A taylor who comes to the town opens up a package full of fabric that are carring the infected fleas which then spreads out toward the town. Anna one of the first to get a dress from the taylor, is a young wife whose husband died in a tragic accident and was left to support her two young sons. Was one of the few who were surprisely ammune to the disease and voluteered to help the people who were ill. As the disease was spreading, the towns people were getting scared and were wanting to leave, but the Rector asked the village to stay where they are until the disease dies off so it may not spread anymore. The towns people agree and brace themselves for what the disease has in store for them.

Explanation of Rating: I gave it a 5 stars because it's an unbelievable true store of this town called Eyam. Having to sacrifice there lives to save others from endoring such an awful disease. With Anna doing all she can to keep the towns people together and finding a cure to help out the village, it really is an act of courage. This book is really easy to follow and was written very well explaining from one persons view on how she took on the disease. Going through so many loses, but gaining so much strength and knowledge in the process.
