Who should read this book? Anyone who has ever felt that the world isn't fair or they just need to hear that from someone else who is feeling that a lot more than you probably are. Also keep in mind that if you don't like very frequent swearing and cussing, then maybe this isn't the book for you.

The first section of the book is compiled if 124 short stories that can make you feel either happy, sad, confused, angry , and all of these at the same time. It really depends what type of person you are. After the stories it becomes a diary of when he was touring around the world with his band Black flag. His diary is actually very depressing sometimes and also kind of boring at some parts. But when it's interesting, it's interesting. Also every now and again he throws in some poems he wrote while he was traveling which are very nice, but again sometimes very depressing. At the end of this very deep and crazy book there's a poem that's three pages long and it's about knowing someone. It's probably the one thing in the book that everyone can relate to.

I only gave it a four because sometimes it's just plain boring and you don't really want to keep reading because it's so boring. It also swears a lot so I had to put it down a little bit. But at some points this book will really make you think about things like your life, family, friends, and anyone you care for. It also seemed like sometimes he just put things in there to fill up space cause it's either boring or just doesn't make any sense at all.

"Bitterness reflects the result of when expectation meets reality" I just like it because it's saying how you shouldn't have high hopes because in the end, what the actual reality of it is, us much worse than you expected. Like I said before, this is one dark book.
