Recommendation: This is a great book for everyone and anyone to read! It is a very easy book to read and it had a lot of Drama, Romance, Comedy, Action, Vampires, and lots more. If you read this book your mind is in a lot of different places with vampire and werewolf’s. I am a hopeless love of a human and a vampire that can’t be together. It is also a good book because it jumps from a human’s point of view on life and then vampires it makes it different and unique!
Summary: This story is about a girl name Bella Swan moves from Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie. Bella is trying to fit in and find her place in school and were she fits in. When Bella is seated next to Edward Cullen in class on her first day of school, Edward really does not like her. He disappears for a few days, but warms up to Bella upon his return; their newfound relationship reaches a climax when Bella is nearly run over by a classmate's van in the school parking lot. Bella is trying to figure out how he saved her life and finds out he is something more than a human. Or time she starts to fall in love with him. She soon finds out from her friend Jacob Black that the Edwards family is vampires and they would rather drink animal blood then humans. Their relationship gets tested when another vampire coven comes to forks. James tracks the Cullen’s because Bella is there and she is a human with water mouth tasking blood. She finds herself getting into trouble with James. She also likes the idea of becoming a vampire. But, I am not going to tell you more. You’re going to have to read the book to find out what happens next!
Explanation of the rating: This is a really good book that you should consideration reading. There is a lot going on at one time, but that makes so you want to keep reading and don’t want to put it down. If you have not heard about this book your friends and people around you I bet that they now everything there is to know about this book and it makes sense because it is a really great book for teens and any aged kids to read. But, if you won’t little kids to read it I would highly recommend you weight tell they are in 5 th grade or so, because it talks about Vampires and has some bloody parts in it! But, If you like action and trying love with passion I would highly recommend Twilight and the rest of the books in the series. There are 4!
Favorite Passage: “About three things I am absolutely positive. First, Edward is a vampire. Second, there was part of him and I didn’t know how potent that part might be that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.” Twilight, p. 195! I love how it shows what Bella is trying feeling for Edward and that she really does love him. But sometimes Bella can get on my nerves. But at least she is thinking about what could happen instead of not.
One of the famous praises or lines in the book would have to be “And so the lion fell in love with the lamb, what a stupid lamb, what a sick Masochistic lion.” Page: 274! I love how they relate it to animals! When Edward is talking Masochistic he is saying that is because he is a vampire and he does not like to be a monster so he thinks of himself that way even thought to a point he is still a human, but does not make anything easer for Bella, because she is a human all the way and he is not.
At almost every chapter so section there is more pomes or quotes from the book and some of them are really good and I love a lot of them. But just remember when you read this book there is so much in it that you won’t get bored if you love romance books. There is also 3 other books after twilight. 1: Twilight, 2: New moon, 3: Eclipse, 4: Breaking dawn!
