Name:Sarah Kessler
Period:A3
Title:Betwixt
Author:Tara Bray Smith
Pages:488
Rating:**
Recommendation: Well I don't recommend this book. It has a lot of swearing and it didn't keep me very interested. It explained the settings good but that's about it.
The story line wasn't awesome but it wasn't terrible. The end (:
Summery: 3 teenagers in Oregon feel different than other people but they don't know why. Turns out they are alien like things called 'Changlings'. They are inhabiting human bodied. They are all very different, and aren't friends, but through finding out that the are all 'special' they become friends and there is drama and stuff. There is a guy named Moth who rounds them up and they form a 'Ring' which is a group a changeling working together.
Explanation of rating: I gave it two stars because I thought it was really weird. It wasn't written very well and didn't keep me very interested. It was a very interesting story line, and had a good idea, but it wasn't put together very well. It moved pretty slow. There were a couple times were i wanted to keep reading, butttttt not very often. It was readable though... :)
Favorite Passage: "The sun climbed above the Columbia River valleyland spread it's rays across the Willamette, infusing everything in Portland with a pinkish orange glow." I like this passage because it it very descriptive.
