Recommendation: This book is kind of a harder read. Aimed for young adults and adults, it's a mystery and very suspenseful. The book is a murder mystery.
Summary: The story starts out with a story of a girl named Mary Rodgers. She worked at a cigar shop, and was famously called "the cigar girl". She was murdered. The story switches back and forth between Edgar Allen Poe, and the life he lived. It finally ties the two together in the last hundred pages.
Explanation of Rating: I really enjoyed this book, but it wasn't my favorite ever. It wasn't the easiest read, and I had to reread a couple of times. I loved the story line.
I couldn't find a passage on the internet, and already returned the book.
