Today in class we got two new vocab words.
Embroil- (verb) to involve in argument in disorder. Link: Boil.
-The class was embroiled in an intense debate.
Waffle- (verb) to speak or write evasively link: Waffle
-Everyone waffled in our culture paper that was due.
In class we did a debate about “should America continue immigration control?” We had the affirmative opposite, negative opposite, affirmative rebuttal, negative rebuttal, affirmative closing, and negative closing, all speak. It was a very interesting debate but we all had good points and we made it a good discussion.
FINAL PAPER IS DUE!!! ALSO ALL LATE WORK DUE WENSDAY!! TOMORROW LAST DAY TO TURN ANYTHING IN!!
