recommendation: I would recommend this book to all who are soft at heart and would like to know how children in now days are being treated and what kind of things parents could to their child and how far could it get. It is a true story about abuse.

Summary: This book is about a boy who tells his story about being abused and neglected and how far he has come to survive and what things he has to do to survive and help those understand that it is not easy.

rating:My rating is a five because it shows and makes you realize so much in life. the book is very discriptive and gives you very good detail about what is going on. reaading this book shows more than you can imagine it hurts and makes you wonder how someone can do the things that this little boy went through. the things that people go through when they are being abused or neglected. wantning to know how this boy had the strength and courage to keep living and survived it is amazing and very very sad.

my favorite passage was when i found out the boy was finally safe from all the beatings and emotions that he had recieved. it is amzing because i did not want the little boy to get in any more trouble and get punished and hurt and get humiliated.
