Recommendation This book shouldn't be read by young children. long parts that take awhile to get thought. a lot of hard word to understand this is why young children shouldn't read it.

summary It starts off in England in the ninth century where there is an idea that they are life form on mars. one night the main charter was walking with his wife and they say something coming from mars. then they went and told everyone the next day what they say and the next night everyone was watching and they all say it and for the next ten nights it keep happening. then one the eleventh day one of the shooting stars came down and it was a huge cylinder and for a few days it did nothing. then days later it came alive and started to attack the town and a few more came down and started to attack with heat rays and other things. then the military started to attack them which made them mad which pushed every one into hiding. then one day the machines just died.

Explanation of rating I rated this book as okay because it is long in some parts. this book get really boring it takes a while to get to points they define in a few paragraphs but it takes them a few pages. they story line takes a while it is boring way bad a some parts. this is way it rated this book okay.
