Book: Nothings Sacred
Author: Lewis Black
Pages: 193
Rating: ****1/2
Recommendation: This book is for someone who does not get offended. If you do, then don't read it. If you don't then read it because it is so funny you wont stop laughing for a week.
Summary: This book has no true plot, its sole purpose is to entertain the reader. In this book, the author talks about all things that piss him off and the funny things that happened to him through out his life. He starts as a child and goes on tangents about everything else in the world until he gets to one of his plays that he wrote in collage. This play is terrible, and for the sake of those people who think of many parts of life to be quite inappropriate I shall spend no more time on this part. In the end he talks about random funny thing until he just stops.
Explanation of rating: I gave this book four and one half stars because of the pure funny that filled the pages. I feel that many people would give it no stars because it is quite raunchy. If you can get over that, it is absolutely hilarious.
Favorite part: My favorite part is the chapter where he talks about growing up as a Jew.
This is my favorite because I can relate to what he is saying easily.
